IN SEARCH OF NON-MEANING

Some time ago, I set out to do a very basic and elemental study of space with primary geometrical forms as a motif. It started out with a set of very small spaces, like a room or cell, and a deep sense of interiority was introduced by embedding a narrow channel of space that links inside and outside.

UNCHANGEABLE is a project initiated by looking at the work of the past in an attempt to transcribe it in a visual node. The representation is neither perspectival nor diagrammatic. There is no central focus or vanishing point here. Only an absolute matter of non-hierarchical space exists. It creates a continuous space of objects where everything is always visible. No single line, point, or element is prioritized over one another. All things are drawn in a single identical stroke; all are important and inseparable. The totality of everything eliminates the potential for emerging details that might challenge the autonomy of this landscape. The canvas becomes a stage for indeterminate eyes to search for origin.
