The film begins at Chi Yan First Lane, highlighting a ground-floor shop space featuring an open-plan layout, a compact bathroom, and staircase storage. The shop is equipped with glass sliding doors for clear street visibility. Upon exiting, we turn onto Tai Lane, which has U-shaped internal stairs (80 cm wide) leading to the upper apartments. Each staircase landing includes glass louvered windows, providing natural light and ventilation.
The apartments feature open layouts with a small bathroom and a built-in kitchen that accommodates an under-counter washer and refrigerator. The facade facing the street consists of two sections: a balcony and a glass block wall. The balcony measures 280 x 70 cm and overlooks Chi Yan First Lane and Wing On Street, equipped with a bi-fold door and a roll-down shade for added openness or privacy. The glass block section measures 220 cm in width and features a 120 x 120 cm window with an extended sash, ideal for plants or small items.
The stairwell features windows for cross-ventilation and an expanded landing area for storage. The rooftop is designed as an open space, ready for the future installation of a sink.
