This compact house is designed for a chef and two generations of his family.
The project is in an undisclosed location near Seoul, Korea, with an undetermined orientation. Therefore, the entire footprint of the house is chamfered to be able to adapt to any orientation.
Clear division among different spaces, such as shared, private, and service areas, was first introduced. Then, a set “offset” space was implemented to gain openness within different living quarters of the house.
